It seems that Microsoft’s announcement of greater support to PC gaming is finally becoming a reality. Quantum Break, one of the great Xbox One exclusives, won’t be so exclusive any more – it will get a PC release as well.
The rumors about a PC version of this action adventure from studio Remedy started circulating in late January, when a Brazilian rating agency added this game to it’s list. The rumors were just confirmed by Microsoft when they announced that all pre-orders of the Xbox release will gain access code for the PC version too. Also, by digitally pre-ordering they will receive studio Remedy’s previous game – Alan Wake, along with all of its DLCs, although this other bonus is for Xbox only. So far it’s been noted that the game will work only on Windows 10 and that it will be quite demanding.
Minimum configuration to play it is:
- OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300
- GPU: GeForce GTX 760 or Radeon R7 260x
- RAM: 8 GB
- HDD: 55 GB
While the recommended configuration is:
- OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i7 4790, 4GHz
- GPU: GeForce 980 Ti or AMD Radeon R9 Fury X
- RAM: 16 GB
- HDD: 55 GB
Quantum Break will be released on April 5. Along with the game a show will be released whose plot will be determined by decisions made while playing the game.
