Authors of the game Ant Simulator have spent their budget on liquor & strippers

Some Kickstarter stories don’t end well. Although it was successfully funded, Ant Simulator was abruptly cancelled by the main programmer, Eric Tereshinski.

In a video posted on YouTube, Eric had stated that the reason for the game’s cancellation was that the other two partners who worked on developing the game with him had spent almost all of their accumulated money on liquor, restaurants and strip-clubs. The issue escalated when he was threatened with a lawsuit if he decides to take over and publish the project by himself.

In the end, Eric had to remove all video material he made during his work at the studio, which included the in-game footage and a series of tutorials about game development.
